Prison Ministry

Prison Ministry seeks to fulfill the gospel call to recognize all people as Children of God and to minister to people within the criminal justice system through principles of Restorative justice. Ministry members focus not only on those who are currently incarcerated but also those who have been recently released.

Prison ministry’s focus areas are:

1. to provide a Catholic presence in local jails by offering sacraments, visitation and prayer
2. to mentor in “Think 4 a Change”
3. to partner with “Williamsburg Walks the Talk” prison ministry.
