Confirmation Preparation

The high school Confirmation preparation program is for rising 10th-12th graders.  It consists of a sacramental prep component in addition to a concurrent religious education component – high school religious education at St. Bede, a Catholic school or an approved Catholic Home School program. 

The program begins with a period of inquiry.  Candidates and parents attend an Orientation & Discernment Session to begin the registration process. Proof of baptism (Baptismal Certificate or Profession of Faith) is required at time of registration.  Preparation programs are offered in two formats: a summer format in August and a winter format beginning in January. 

Daily prayer and weekly participation in Sunday Mass is expected. 

The Rite of Confirmation is celebrated during the Easter season.
