We Walk By Faith
 In 2006, the Richmond Diocese created a program entitled We Walk By Faith (WWBF). This program asks each parish within the diocese to begin a process of self-assessment in order to address the needs of the faith community and to determine how the parish can best serve each believer on his or her personal journey to faith. This is to be a process of renewal within each parish.
The Pastoral Council at Saint Bede parish began to organize this effort in April of 2007. A series of milestones was established in order to implement the program with the objective of presenting and promoting WWBF within the parish. At present, the parish is on target to complete the stages whereby the parish community will have given its input to the 4 areas of WWBF: Word, Worship, Community and Service. This will culminate with the parish community taking the WWBF survey the weekend of November 3rd and 4th. View Sample Survey
After the survey results are received from the diocese, the Pastoral Council will continue the process of assessing the feedback from the parish community. A Parish Assessment Report will be completed by the end of the first quarter 2008 followed by a visit from the bishop to discuss the Saint Bede WWBF results.
