History and Update
During 2006, a Core Committee of parish leaders began discussing the next phase of parish expansion. The theme, “Around One Table – Expanding Our Home” Saint Bede Parish Continues the Journey Forward, was chosen to expand on the original “One Table” campaign to build the new church.
The committee’s mission is to work toward a building plan which will:

address the importance of faith formation space for ourselves, our children, and our youth;
- encourage team building and staff collaboration by moving all support service offices to the Ironbound campus;
- design a facility equipped to handle over 50 Ministry and Parish Life Groups; and
- fulfill our parishioners’ needs for a building befitting St. Bede’s status as the largest religious congregation in Williamsburg
