Family Ministry

The Family Ministry’s mission is to instill a moral and value-based foundation, within a prayerful framework, to the parents and children of Saint Bede Catholic Church. The Holy Family serves as a role model as the ministry aims to foster a sense of community, fellowship, and strength among the many families of our parish.

The Catholic Faith is celebrated through worship, special events, parent education, and leadership. Family Ministry serves as a foundation of support and religious counsel to parents and children through age-appropriate programming and event planning in conjunction with the liturgical calendar.

Homeschool Ministry supports our parish families who are seeking to educate their children at home, taking seriously the call of parents to be the primary educators of their children.  To learn more, contact Sheila Lancour

Men's Ministry allows men of the parish to meet once a month on the second Tuesday of the month to share experiences, common interests, and views in a relaxed environment. Discussion centers on face-to-face conversations about faith, life, families, and Catholic issues in society today. To learn more, contact Earl Anderson or sign up here

That Man Is You! is an interactive men's program focused on the development of men in the modern world. It combines the best research from science with the teachings of the Catholic faith and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of authentic men capable of transforming themselves, their families, and greater society. The program is divided into two 13 week sessions. The Fall session emphasizes the development of the Scriptural vision of man, especially in his relationship to his family and society while the Spring session emphasizes the practical means of becoming that man. In addition to formal meeting groups, Family Ministry hosts a Spring Picnic.  This serves as a means of nurturing community and welcoming.  Children and grandchildren participate in crafts, projects and games that center around Lenten and Easter themes.  The fun extends into summer with the Tot Spot at the Parish Picnic, sponsored by the Family Ministry.
